People Update: Brenda Newbern

The Cape Girardeau Convention and Visitors Bureau has named Brenda Newbern executive director.  Newbern formerly was a sales manager for MidAmerica Hotels Corp. in Cape Girardeau, and has worked in customer service and office operations for retailers and manufacturers.  She also previously served as a group tour manager for the CVB.
