Springfield CVB Launches Spring Travel Auction to to Benefit Hospitality Industry

April 22, 2020

Springfield CVB is introducing a new Spring Travel Auction to help its local hospitality industry through COVID-19.  More than 18,000 associates work a hospitality job Springfield, and many of them have already experienced reduced hours, furloughs, or layoffs.

During National Travel & Tourism Week (May 3-9), people from around the Ozarks are invited to bid on items provided by Springfield’s tourism industry.  The proceeds from this auction will benefit the Mother’s Industry Support Fund — a partnership between Mother’s Brewing Company and the Community Foundation of the Ozarks designed to help hospitality workers in Springfield.

Springfield is asking for donations that can be sold during the auction.  Please consider giving gift certificates, attraction tickets, memberships, VIP tours, special experiences and anything else you think might help raise money for those in need.

If you can help, send an email to [email protected] and let them know what you have in mind.
