People Update – Todd Walline

Todd Walline will be celebrating his 19th year as the executive chef and director of food and beverage at Blue Hills Country Club in November, 2017. Walline is a graduate of the Johnson County Community College (JCCC) Culinary Apprentice Program, one of the few remaining traditional apprentice programs in the nation. Walline was an adjunct professor of culinary arts from 2010-2016 at JCCC and was a member of the college culinary competition team. He is an active member of the American Culinary Federation, for which he serves as the Vice President of the Greater Kansas City Chapter, and he was awarded the chapter Chef of the Year Medallion in 2013.
