Industry Update: Clayton Hotel Takes on New Identity

The former Crowne Plaza Clayton Hotel in St. Louis’ Clayton suburb has a new name, and is on the receiving end of some important updates.

Now an independent property, it has been reflagged the Clayton Plaza Hotel. Construction work has begun to combine smaller guest rooms into larger, more luxurious ones, and there are a new guest laundry facility and fitness center on site.

The hotel is minutes from downtown St. Louis, near Inter state 64/40. There are 241 guest rooms with hardwood floors; heated indoor/outdoor pool; and 21000 square feet of event space including three divisible ballrooms. For the enjoyment of guests, the Clayton Plaza Hotel offers complimentary full, hot American breakfasts with made-to-order omelets and waffles.
