Wehrenberg’s “Cans Film Festival” food drive helps the hungry

Join participating Wehrenberg Theatres on Saturday, December 7, 2013, for the company’s annual Cans Film Festival, a one-day food drive benefiting neighbors in need.

Donate five cans of food at a participating theater, and receive a free movie pass. Moviegoers who donate 15 cans or more receive an  additional pass for another day.

Donated cans support the Salvation Army’s food pantries that assist area residents in need.  The drive brings in about 300,000 donated cans each year.

Volunteers are needed to help collect, count and box the donated food. Wehrenberg is recruiting volunteers to work at the following St. Louis-area theaters:

  • Arnold 14 Cine, 1912 Richardson Road; Arnold, MO 63010
