For more than 21 years Mary negotiated contracts for some of the largest financial institutions in the world including GE Capital, Mellon Bank, Norwest Bank and Orix Financial. She now works with large and small companies and municipalities to help their senior managers, directors, employees and team members become FearLess Negotiators, Master Communicators and Better Listeners.

As an eleven-year active member of the National Speakers Association (“NSA”), she is a Past-President of the NSA-Kansas City Chapter and their 2013 Member of the Year. Mary is a charter member of the Bonner Springs Toastmaster Club and serves on the Board of Directors of GRACE, a 501C3 not for profit founded to provide Alcoholics and addicts safe housing and an opportunity to reestablish their lives. The Kansas City Business Journal and Kauffman Foundation honored her with the Women Who Mean Business Award. In October 2015, the Kansas Department of Commerce, Office of Minority and Women Business Development honored her with Kansas Women Business Advocate of the Year award.
