Justin Pittenger has been named the new food and beverage director at The Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, Missouri.
Pittenger comes to the Lodge from Salina Country Club in Salina, Kansas, where he served as food and beverage director of the private golf club, managed by Troon F&B. As F&B director, Pittenger handled all F&B sales for the club, detailed all banquet events and oversaw the club’s two restaurants. He was also instrumental in developing the club’s Banquet Beverage Program, as well as the restaurant beverage menu. Before that, he spent two years as F&B director of the prestigious Bourbon Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana.
“Justin brings a wealth of experience with him, spending the last decade in F&B with the Interstate Hotel Company and Hammonds,” says Larry McAfee, general manager of The Lodge of Four Seasons. “He ‘cut his teeth’ in the back of the house as a sous chef, banquet chef and executive chef, prior to director of F&B with Interstate and Hammonds. One of his more recent jobs was overseeing F&B in the Bourbon Hotel, New Orleans, a highly regarded property, and assisting in four other hotels in the New Orleans area for Interstate. With the great team we have in place now, I’m sure we will continue our trajectory course of progress at the Lodge.”
In addition to serving as food and beverage director, Pittenger’s experience includes nearly a decade as executive chef at numerous properties, including the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Topeka, Kansas; Quartz Mountain Resort in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma; Sheraton Charlotte Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina; Wyndham Riverfront Hotel in New Orleans; Crowne Plaza Hotel in Kenner, Louisiana; and Crowne Plaza Universal Hotel in Orlando, Florida.
